Chilled Citrus Sangria Splash

Posted by Dmitrij Klimchuk on

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of white wine (750ml), chilled
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur (e.g., Triple Sec)
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup assorted fresh citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes), thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions:

1) Before you start, ensure that your Ice Bottle Chiller is ready to use. Place it in the freezer for 10 - 14 hours.

2) Prepare the Fruits: Wash and slice the assorted fresh citrus fruits and berries. You can choose your favorite combination of fruits for a colorful mix.

3) Mix the Cocktail: In a large pitcher, combine the chilled white wine, orange liqueur, brandy, fresh orange juice, fresh lemon juice, and fresh lime juice. Stir in the sugar to sweeten the mixture (adjust to your preferred level of sweetness).

4) Add the Fruits: Gently stir in the sliced citrus fruits and mixed berries. This will infuse the sangria with a delightful burst of flavors.

5) Chill: Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together and the fruits to release their juices.

6) Serve: When you're ready to serve, take your pre-chilled Ice Bottle Chiller from the freezer and place the pitcher in it to keep your sangria perfectly chilled without diluting it.

7) Pour and Enjoy: Pour the Chilled Citrus Sangria Splash into wine glasses, making sure to include some of the delicious fruit slices in each glass. Garnish with a fresh citrus twist or a sprig of mint, if desired.

This chilled citrus sangria is a perfect drink that combines the crispness of white wine with the sweetness of citrus fruits. The Ice Bottle Chiller will ensure your sangria stays refreshing throughout your gathering. Enjoy responsibly!
